Reno began his music career when he started taking piano lessons at age nine.  After a few years of playing piano he developed a taste for rock and started playing an acoustic guitar which was being stored at his house.  Once he acquired an electric guitar his playing really began to take flight.  Listening to such bands as Metallica, Nirvana, Pearl Jam & Green Day, Reno honed his skills by learning every song he could play.  At age 16 Reno joined with a few friends and started a punk band.  The band never left the garage where they jammed and Reno desired more.  In 2005 he joined another band that eventually got Reno his first taste of performing live.  The band quickly fell apart after a few months, but he still had the desire to play live music.  Later that year he joined The Dirty Minds a cover band in which he gained more live experience. Again falling short of Reno's goals in music he left the band and began searching for the next project.  After a short stint in the Footlights Reno stumbled Alex's ad in the FFWD for a guitar player.  After learning the basic tracks Alex & John had pieced together, Reno came by the basement "studio" and simply blew the doors off the rest of the band.  In that night Reno secured his place using his furious solo skills, dry sense of humor, and ability to bust Curt's balls at a moments notice. The Kingdom was complete.
