John's drumming career started on a whim, without ever having played drums before.  A friend who was in a band and needed a drummer asked if he knew how to play, John without hesitation lied and said yes. With a rented drum kit from Long & McQuade John began playing the cover scene in Calgary in the band Vicous Circle.  After a few years and a couple of different band names the band called it quits. John's drumming layed dormant for years practicing only in his basement.  It wasn't until a house party at Alex's house when John stepped behind the kit Alex had setup in his basement that his passion was reborn.  Not long after that night Alex asked John if he would like to play on the tracks Alex had put together. John layed down an impressive groove with an aggressive hard hitting style all his own.   John's place in Kingdom of Few is secured, it just would not be the same without his heart, skill, and ridiculous sense of humour.
